TRANSPORTATION

Please remember to send a note to the teacher if your child has a
transportation change. When the school office receives an abundance of calls each
afternoon, it is difficult to make sure every teacher receives notice in time
for dismissal. Absolutely no changes regarding transportation will be made past
2pm.
°
If your child is a daycare rider, please notify the daycare
when your child is not here or is not riding with the daycare. This is a
tremendous time saver for the daycares and our staff.
°
Parents
should use the car rider line for afternoon pick up. If you have a medical appointment, please check
your child out from school
prior to 2:30pm. This prevents any confusion at the very end of the day when
teachers are students are packing up and preparing for dismissal.

Thanks for all your help with transportation. It’s one of the
more difficult aspects of our job due to the concern for student safety.
60% DAYS / EARLY DISMISSAL
As you will see on the back of your student handbook, the
district has scheduled 5 early release days (listed as 60%). Dismissal times on
these dates are 11:30am for car & daycare riders and 11:45 am for bus riders.
Students will have the opportunity to eat lunch at school on these dates. The
dates are 8/25/10, 9/29/10, 10/27/10, 11/17/10, 1/26/11, 2/23/11, & 3/30/11.
