Parents & Teachers Working Together
The Shannon Middle School PTO was organized as a fundraising organization for the betterment of the school. The PTO operates independently of the school but works closely with school personnel to help meet needs within the school.
Meetings are held throughout the school year to recognize student, faculty and staff achievement and to encourage parental involvement with our school. Fundraisers and various school activities are also discussed during these meetings. The PTO does not serve as a grievance committee but encourages parents to meet with school personnel on such matters.
All meetings begin at 5:30pm in the school library.
