
HVAC I and II students had the opportunity to visit with Mr. Matt Lentell, Director of Operations at Cadence Bank Arena. Students learned about daily operations inside the arena, and Mr. Lentell showed students the process of creating the ice rink.

Current and former Ag and Natural Resource students at the CTE Center who are FFA members volunteered at Celebration Village. Students helped vendors unload supplies. They worked hard and had the best day!

Lee County CTE teachers are proudly supporting homecoming/spirit week at Shannon High. This is "Dress Like a Teacher" day at the school. So, the group dressed like their favorite teacher at the CTE Center - Mr. Kevin Jaggars/Advanced Manufacturing! 😂

We are still looking for businesses and industries to participate in the Lee County School District College & Career Showcase in October. Seniors from Saltillo, Mooreville, and Shannon high schools participate. Please contact the Lee County CTE Center if interested.


Ed Prep students are placed with excellent mentor teachers across our district during their clinicals. Students are receiving excellent training, and many of them are already leading small groups, assisting with centers, tutoring, and reading to students. We even have a couple of future band directors that are sharing their talents with middle school band students. We are so proud of our Ed Prep students!






Culinary Arts II students went on a field trip to the Elvis Presley Birthplace to gather ideas for an upcoming Elvis themed culinary activity. Everyone had a great time learning more about Elvis. Students also enjoyed lunch at Johnnie’s Drive-In. It was an added bonus to see a former culinary student on the job.

🚨 Attention all drivers: School starts this Thursday. Remember to slow down in school zones and always stop for school buses! It is illegal to pass a school bus while the stop-arm is extended and the red lights are flashing.

CTE teachers had a great first day back to school with meetings and classroom prep. Teachers later toured Toyota Manufacturing in Blue Springs. We are excited for another year!




Our central office staff welcomed new educators this week, as they get ready for their "first day of school" as a teacher. School starts next Thursday!

Congratulations to Guntown Middle Beta Club members Zoey Conwill and Emlianne Owens. They brought home two 1st place awards, a 4th place, and Best in Show during the National Junior Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia. Also pictured are club sponsors Dianne Floyd and Abby Mauney.


Saltillo High School's archery team is number two in the nation after competing in the NASP tournament in Florida.
The team has already won 12 state consecutive state championships and can now add the title of #2 in the NATION!
