Several of our teachers received the amazing opportunity to attend “A Ron Clark Academy experience” -sponsored by Huntington Bank.

Mrs. Karen Boyette (4th Math), Ms.Kimberly Whitworth (3rd Science/Social Studies), Mrs. Ginger Bethune (Science/Social Studies), Mrs. Amanda Foster (2nd grade), Mrs. Jessica Wilson (Inclusion teacher), and Mrs. Kayla Mitchell (Instructional Interventionist) were able to represent MES at the event.

They learned some amazing new strategies to use for student motivation and success! They also learned ways to build a school climate based on strong relationships, acceptance and respect.

We can’t wait to share more about the Ron Clark Academy with you all as the year goes on!
