Our cheer team recently returned from UCA cheer camp with an impressive list of awards and accolades!

The team placed first in camp routine and second in home cheer.

Six members of the team earned top individual honors and were named as UCA All-Americans: Briar Goss, Laura Belle Dykes, Della Hussey, Finley Thomas, Belle Harris, and Alana Pender.

Della Hussey, Eva Brooke Swinney, and Finley Thomas received the Pin It Forward Award, which is given by UCA staff to campers who set a good example for their team and other campers.

For the fifth summer in a row, Della Hussey won the camp-wide jump off competition, and Alana Pender was a jump-off finalist.

We are most proud of the team’s Camp Leadership Award, which was voted on and chosen by all the teams at camp.
