
Our Life Skills class enjoyed a field trip to Fresh Farm Tupelo! They learned about different flowers and what’s best to grow in each season. Students also learned about the drying process and the neat things one can make with the dried flowers.

This week, the MHS Cross Country team hosted its division meet, and we are proud to announce that both our girls and boys teams are DIVISION 4-3A CHAMPIONS! Next stop? On October 31, our runners will be competing in the state XC meet, which will be held at Choctaw Trails on the campus of Mississippi College in Clinton. Good luck, Troopers!

The MHS Unified Club played at Saltillo High Thursday, and the gymnasium was packed with fun, basketball, and dancing! Special thanks to our teachers, student coaches, and fans for the wonderful experience! MHS won best 2 out of 3!

Coach G and the cheer squad made its annual visit to The Meadows tailgate on Friday. They performed their game day routine for the residents and enjoyed a great tailgate meal with even better company! 💚





Carter Seay competed in the ICC Tuition-Toss Dr. Pepper Challenge during halftime a few weeks ago! Not only did he compete, but he WON and brought home a $500 scholarship! Congratulations Carter! BIG thanks to Itawamba Community College for this scholarship opportunity! ICC is the best!

Congratulations to our volleyball team…the 2024 Lee County Tournament champions! Coach Morrow, Coach Williams, Coach Gillentine, and the girls made history by bringing home this championship title for the first time in school history.


Mr. Cameron Moore with Aiming for Healthy Families taught a lesson on how important communication skills are for healthy relationships. The students practiced their communication skills by participating in a fun game. We love having you, Mr. Moore!
