History was made this week at Mooreville Middle School! For the very first time, MMS has been recognized as an “A” school by the Mississippi Department of Education, a huge accomplishment for students, staff, and the entire Mooreville community.
The excitement kicked off when the news was announced Thursday. To celebrate, administrators treated staff to a baked potato bar, sweet goodies, and even surprised them with brand new “A” t-shirts. On Friday, teachers and staff proudly wore their shirts and gathered for a big group photo to mark the occasion.
Principal Comer shared:
“I want to thank our staff, students, and parents for helping make MMS an ‘A’ rated school. Your dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence have made this honor possible. This achievement is truly a team effort, and I am grateful for all you have done.”
The accomplishment has sparked plenty of pride around campus and in the community. From classrooms to the cafeteria, the celebration is a reminder that hard work, dedication, and teamwork truly pay off.
Congratulations, Mooreville Middle. Your first “A” is just the beginning! 💚🖤
