We are proud to share that two of our students had the honor of traveling to Jackson to serve as Pages for the Mississippi Senate. This prestigious opportunity allowed them to witness firsthand the legislative process and engage in the workings of the Senate.
Both students had the chance to observe Senate debates and participate in various duties throughout the week. This is what each student had to share about their experiences.
Colin Creel shared, "It was a great honor to serve as a Senate Page. I had an amazing time."
Ikam Kalher reflected, "Paging for the Mississippi Senate was a lot more fun than I expected. I witnessed Senators debating important bills, running errands around the Capitol building, and exploring while running errands for staff. This is an experience I would love to have again!"
We are proud of our students for their involvement and look forward to more of these enriching opportunities in the future!
