Saltillo High School was honored to welcome Dr. Mark Keenum, President of Mississippi State University, to campus this week to speak with our Senior Class.
Dr. Keenum delivered an inspiring message, encouraging students to pursue their passions and believe in their potential. He shared several memorable quotes with our seniors:
“I want you to be successful in whatever you choose to do.”
“If you can dream it, we can help you achieve it.”
“At Mississippi State, if you are a Bulldog, you look out for one another, care for one another, and love one another.”
Dr. Keenum also emphasized the three core values that define Mississippi State University:
Integrity. Work. & Respect.
Pictured are:

This Friday at 6:30pm before kickoff against Lafayette! We need the community, alumni, and former SHS, SES, SPS, and GMS faculty and staff there! Current SPS kindergartners and SHS seniors get in FREE at the south gate! Let’s "Pass the Pride!"

Some of our football players and cheerleaders welcomed Saltillo Primary students to their school last Friday morning. They all loved it!

Student-led FCA gathered during PAWSS on Friday, with nearly 400 students coming together to hear an inspiring message from Coach Glenn. What an incredible turnout. Thank you Brady Brock with Gumtree Mortgage for the doughnuts!

Our counselors went above and beyond today and spoiled our staff with a Game Day Soda Cart! 🥤 We are always thankful for our amazing teachers and staff, but today we are EXTRA thankful for our counselors who know the way to our hearts (and taste buds). 💛

Game Day!!
