Tailgate Friday was a success at SPS! Our wonderful PIA provided an awesome lunch for our staff members and snacks for students! The SHS cheerleaders and the band performed for us during a pep rally to get students excited about the fundraiser sponsored by our PIA. Some amazing things are happening at SPS!
Next week is Homecoming Week at SPS!
Our SPS Touch a Truck for this Friday has been postponed due to possible rain. It has been rescheduled for October 18th!
We can't wait to kick-off our upcoming "Battle of the Helmets" fundraiser with a Pep Rally and Tailgate Friday! Thanks to our PIA for all that you do for us at SPS!
Thanks to all of the dads at Shannon Primary who showed up this morning to greet students when they got to school. And thanks to Shannon Primary School PIA for organizing "Fathers in Action!" It was a success!

Open House CANCELED
SPS kindergarteners celebrated Grandparents Day. They sang a few songs and enjoyed cookies and lemonade while coloring with their grandparents.
It was great to see the mini-cheerleaders on the field at the first Red Raider home game!
Shannon Primary kindergarteners welcomed members of the Shannon and Nettleton fire departments. Chief Gary Monaghan and Chester from the NFD and Corey Wilson and Joe Gurley from the SFD talked to students about being firefighters.
