Gavin Gentry has been named the 2025–2026 Saltillo High School STAR Student and has chosen Mrs. Kayla Dillinger as his STAR Teacher.
Sponsored by the Mississippi Economic Council, the Student–Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Program honors outstanding students and the educators who have made a meaningful impact on their academic success. STAR Students are selected based on criteria that include an exceptional GPA and outstanding performance on the ACT.
