Several juniors from all three of our district's high schools are part of Tombigbee Electric Power Association's Youth Leadership Program.
Blake Bevill from Mooreville High, Abby Beall and Gabby Foote from Saltillo High, and Raleigh Estes and Robert "Deuce" Topps from Shannon High were selected as 2026 Cooperative Youth Leadership delegates for TEPA.
The group of students, along with others from the state, recently spent time in Jackson building their leadership skills and also meeting with lawmakers at the Mississippi State Capitol.
Students are now preparing for a trip in June to Washington, D.C. to learn how valuable electric cooperatives are to our nation and about related issues.
