Big congratulations to Austin Brown and Warner Bryan! Through a competitive audition, a panel of judges selected them to be members of the 2026 Mississippi Middle School All State Band. Austin is 1 of only 8 trumpet players chosen from the entire state, and Warner is 1 of only 3 tuba players and achieved this as a 7th grader! They will attend a camp at Pearl River Community College this summer to rehearse and perform a concert with the rest of the All State Band.

Our 6th graders celebrated their hard work and graduation from D.A.R.E. with a field trip to the skating rink!

Congratulations!

During School Social Worker Appreciation Week, we proudly celebrate our incredible school social workers at Mooreville Middle School — Gessika Fennell and Madison Rodgers!

Mrs. Cardenas, 9th and 10th grade counselor, spent some time recently working with 8th graders on their high school schedules.

Congratulations to the eight Mooreville Middle School Band members selected to participate in the Mississippi University for Women Honor Band Clinic!

Ms. Moya’s class celebrated Valentine’s Day last week by creating geometric hearts using watercolor, liquid latex, and India ink. 🎨❤️
