⚖️ Mrs. Sanders’ 7th graders stepped into the shoes of lawyers, witnesses, and jurors during an exciting mock trial! 🎭📚 With powerful arguments and sharp cross-examinations, students brought learning to life and practiced critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork. 🧠💬💼

Our 8th graders had a great day at the MPOWER College & Career Expo at the Crossroads Arena in Corinth! 🎓💼
Students were able to explore future opportunities by talking with colleges and career professionals. Some of their favorite experiences included:

At MMS, our Mental Health Support Squad works alongside administration and teachers as a dedicated team. School Social Worker Gessika Fennell, School Counselor Olivia Mann, LifeCore Therapist Jade Garrett, and Social Work Intern Madison Rogers are here to promote mental wellness and ensure students know they are never alone. Together, they are committed to fostering the academic, social, and emotional success of every student through collaborative, student-centered support

Ms. Moya’s art classes celebrated by creating their own colorful dots using coffee filters, markers, and water. 🎨☕ Such a fun way to show off creativity and remind us all to “make your mark and see where it takes you!”

Mrs. Dee’s 6th grade Social Studies Class
Students gave presentations on their assigned continent! 🌍 They researched location, landforms, landmarks, climate, culture, and wildlife, then shared what they learned with the class. Great job, students! 👏✨

🎳 Ms. Lane’s class hit the lanes yesterday and had a STRIKE of a good time! From spares to strikes (and even a few gutter balls 😅), the students bowled up some fun and unforgettable memories. 🟢🎳✨

Reminder: Jr. Beta Club Induction Ceremony tomorrow night in the cafeteria!
Students should have been sent home with an invitation for the ones being inducted.

Mrs. Sanders’ classes successfully completed an outdoor escape room. Students practiced their reading comprehension and deciphered codes to learn about the recent Labor Day holiday.

REMINDER: There will be no school on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. Classes resume at normal times on Tuesday, September 2.

Mrs. Dee’s 6th grade Social Studies class was on the move today! 🌍 Students participated in a carousel activity, rotating through stations to answer questions using different types of maps. 🗺️ Such a fun and interactive way to learn about geography and critical thinking!
