New backpacks for the State Special Olympics in two weeks! All the best to these students as they travel to Biloxi.









Mrs. Churchill’s 7th graders played "Move It on Up" game. For each question students answered correctly, they got to toss the ball into the buckets for bonus points.

The Center for Math & Science Education at Ole Miss presented a workshop on co-teaching for our Plantersville and Shannon Middle math and special education teachers. This was made possible through Toyota’s Driving Possibilities grant.

Mrs. Scruggs’ 5th graders chose one planet to research. Students then displayed what they discovered with poster board projects.






Mrs. Churchill’s seventh grade students made paper quilt squares to go along with the poem "My Mother Pieced Quilts." All quilt squares will be pierced together to create a collaborative quilt.







Mrs. Guess’ fifth graders mastered their measuring skills with STEM101. They learned to read the measuring instruments and then used them to measure everything in sight!
