Deputy Rick Haggard, School Resource Officer for Shannon Elementary School, spoke with 4th graders about bullying, not being a bystander, and the importance of telling a trusted adult when something is wrong.

Red Ribbon Week at SES!

SES marked National Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about different countries. Our EL students did a great job teaching their classmates about capital cities, flags, and different languages!





Fourth grade participated in a “real life” academic battle 😉 after reading The Lemonade War! Classes enjoyed some lemon-themed treats and activities to celebrate the end of the 1st 9 weeks!

Earlier this month, we celebrated our students who are EL learners and their families at Shannon High! Students were given certificates for achieving growth and proficiency on their English language assessment. We are so proud of you all!




Mrs. Moody’s 5th grade science classes participated in the best way to learn about states of matter.. making your own ice cream!
