Fifth graders attended “Kids Day” at Swayze Field to watch Ole Miss vs. University of Arkansas at Little Rock on the diamond! They had a blast cheering on the Rebels!







This Thursday, April 2, students will enjoy a “Knock the Test Out of the Park” state test pep rally! This rally will be led by SHS cheerleaders at 9:00am at the high school gym. Encourage your student to wear their grade’s colors listed.

Plenty of friendly competition at today's Northeast Mississippi Special Olympics Area 11 games! Athletes from schools throughout our district took part in this annual event in Tupelo. Congratulations to all of the winners! 🏅
Fifth graders participated in hands-on science learning experiences at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham. They had a blast putting their knowledge to practice!










What better way to begin Charlotte’s Web than meeting a real-life Wilbur? This surprise visitor at Saltillo Elementary helped students kick off their reading of the E.B. White classic novel about friendship between a pig and a spider.






Saltillo Elementary 4th graders welcomed Miss Mississippi Anna Leah Jolly, who presented “Tar Wars.” This program is designed to educate Mississippi students on the dangers associated with using tobacco products and other chemicals.




Ms. Hatcher and Ms. Jeter’s 4th grade classes enjoyed reading Charlotte’s Web together in one of several outdoor spaces that are perfect for reading! Thanks to Toyota for donating the books and the gift of reading to our kids.





Our school science fair winners competed at the Region IV Science Fair at Northeast Mississippi Community College. Congratulations to our students and school for all of the outstanding awards earned there!










On Friday, March 20, we will observe World Down Syndrome Day by wearing our boldest and brightest, most eye-catching socks. Please join in celebrating our friends by wearing your wildest socks!
