"Stuck in a Snow Globe!" ❄️❄️❄️ Mrs. Caldwell's 3rd graders got their ELA skills on point by writing wacky stories about being stuck in a snow globe.









Mrs. Kloac's 3rd graders created handmade Valentine’s Day cards and wrote thoughtful letters to residents of Creekside Manor in Saltillo. 💕

Mrs. Nissen's class at Saltillo Elementary is having a science lesson on matter by making "snow and ice." Students are connecting the lesson with our recent winter weather storm. We are glad to see everyone back in school and learning!





Our 5th grade students thoroughly enjoyed this inflatable planetarium! Thanks to the Center for Math and Science Education at Ole Miss for bringing it to us.

Congratulations to our December Character Trait of the Month winners. These students are recognized for exhibiting the trait of JOY!





A group of Saltillo Elementary students celebrated New Year's Eve with the Saltillo Fire Department at a "Fire Explorers Day Camp." The event provided students with insights into fire safety and prevention.



Fourth grade class representatives prepared and served a “Holiday Drink Bar” for our fourth grade students and school staff to enjoy. Lots of sugar, Sprite, sprinkles, marshmallows, juice, and fizzies to cheer on the holidays!

Students in Mrs. Decanter and Osmundson's 3rd grade classrooms welcomed Superintendent Coke Magee for some reading time with them! Mr. Magee read aloud 'Skiing with Mr. Magee' and 'A Snowman Named Just Bob.'



Third graders did a great job with their festive 'Merry & Bright' performances!










Mrs. Alexander's art students have been learning the technique of faux felting as they study about the abstract artist, Wassily Kandinsky. Good job on creating these colorful pieces!
