
Saltillo Elementary students demonstrated their appreciation for our community's heroes, the Saltillo Fire and Police Departments, by presenting them with trays of cookies. 🍪 We hope these tokens of gratitude bring them satisfaction and acknowledgment for their tireless efforts in keeping us safe!



"Goodies with Grands" was truly heartwarming! We are grateful to have had the opportunity to host such a special event for our students, staff, families, and of course, our beloved grandparents, who hold such an important place in our lives. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!

To ensure you have the opportunity to purchase photos, picture order forms were sent home with your student(s) on Thursday, August 29.

The schools and offices of the Lee County School District will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024, for Labor Day.


Parents and Guardians: Wearing athletic shoes to P.E. class is crucial for your student's safety and comfort. Please help us by ensuring they wear athletic shoes on P.E. activity days, allowing them to fully participate in exciting exercises and games while preventing injuries and promoting foot health. Thank you!


Our elementary school is dedicated to creating a learning environment that's both exciting and educational, and each grade level thoughtfully decorated their hallways and classrooms based on the themes of land, air, or sea. Learning can always be reached!







Good morning SaES families. We conducted a brief lock down drill this morning. This was only a drill and there is absolutely no danger. We conduct drills once per month to keep our team alert and prepared in case of an actual emergency. We always strive to keep our campus safe and prepared.

Miss Madison’s third grade classes read the book “Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun”, where they learned that being courageous about who you are is important. Students then got to decide if they liked Lucy’s favorite sandwich!

🚨 Attention all drivers: School starts this Thursday. Remember to slow down in school zones and always stop for school buses! It is illegal to pass a school bus while the stop-arm is extended and the red lights are flashing.

Our central office staff welcomed new educators this week, as they get ready for their "first day of school" as a teacher. School starts next Thursday!

Saltillo High School seniors BreAnne Sparks and Katie Nock put their artistic talents to use for a summer service project. This series of canvases will brighten the walls at the Lee County School District Bus Shop. Awesome job!

Congratulations to Guntown Middle Beta Club members Zoey Conwill and Emlianne Owens. They brought home two 1st place awards, a 4th place, and Best in Show during the National Junior Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia. Also pictured are club sponsors Dianne Floyd and Abby Mauney.
