
Sixth through eighth grade teachers are working hard on our curriculum for next school year. Thanks to Mr. Woods and his administrative team at Shannon Middle School for providing the space and lunch!

A big THANK YOU goes out to our PTO, which provided nachos for all students after three long days of testing. We appreciate you SO MUCH! The students definitely enjoyed.

Our 7th graders zipped through our last benchmarks, so they got rewarded with a field trip to zip line and more!











Spring Band Concert







This meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15, at 5:00pm at Shannon Primary School.


The Center for Math & Science Education at Ole Miss presented a workshop on co-teaching for our Plantersville and Shannon Middle math and special education teachers. This was made possible through Toyota’s Driving Possibilities grant.




Each year, there are always fun, creative entries in the Shannon High/Middle Edible Book Festival!

The book fair has been a huge hit with our students! We will host the fair through April 2, with a special PARENTS NIGHT on Monday, March 31!


REMINDER: Spring break is next week, March 10-14. Enjoy your time off! Classes resume at normal times on Monday, March 17.


Eighth graders enjoyed a "reward trip" for growth in math/ELA and proficient or advanced in science. We started with Chick-fil-A for breakfast, we then went bowling, and students finished with lunch and shopping at the mall!
