It's Red Ribbon Week!

Ms. Ellis' 2nd graders are learning about character traits. They made magnifying glasses and looked into details of a story to figure out how the characters might feel. Students had so much fun being detectives! 🔎

Wednesday!

Ms. Ellis' 2nd graders read a story about Arnold and his apple tree. They discussed how Arnold's tree changes throughout the seasons. Today, students worked in groups to create a piece of the tree that matched their assigned season. 🍎

The owner of Blue Magnolia Bread Co. in Saltillo taught students all about bread during a recent visit!

This Friday at 6:30pm before kickoff against Lafayette! We need the community, alumni, and former SHS, SES, SPS, and GMS faculty and staff there! Current SPS kindergartners and SHS seniors get in FREE at the south gate! Let’s "Pass the Pride!"

High school football players and cheerleaders welcomed our students to campus ahead of Friday's game. We thank them all!

REMINDER: There will be no school on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. Classes resume at normal times on Tuesday, September 2.

We'll soon be seeing these big yellow buses back on the road! All drivers must come to a complete STOP when children are loading and unloading.
