Saltillo Primary students are learning how to throw and catch in PE this week. Thank you to Saltillo baseball and softball players for demonstrating and helping the kids!

Mrs. Carson's kindergarten class has been learning about turkeys and the letter O. Students sorted and counted Fruit Loops by colors and made a turkey out of a donut! 🦃

What better way to get ready for next week's FALL BREAK than a leaf hunt! 🍂 Ms. McCollum and Ms. Bell's kindergarten students have been learning about the fall season and different types of leaves.





From Tupelo Police Department: A big thank you to Lieutenant Senter and Corporal Uhiren with our Special Operations Unit for visiting Saltillo Primary School to show the kindergartners K9 Conan. They demonstrated several of K9 Conan’s abilities and spoke with the kids about his day to day job. Of course, the kids absolutely loved him!

Saltillo Primary School Literacy Nights


Second graders are learning how to identify if a number is EVEN or ODD. Mrs. Logan’s students were told to get in groups of however many they wanted. Next, they had to count and determine if their group was an even or odd number. 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣5️⃣6️⃣7️⃣8️⃣9️⃣🔟



Kindergarten students have been learning about the letters Mm and Tt.
To celebrate letter T, teachers hosted a teddy bear and tea party!
To celebrate letter M, students decorated masks to wear!


It’s game day! Thanks to some fantastic helpers for being here as we welcomed students to campus today. The Tigers face the Amory Panthers tonight at home at 7:00.
