ELL (English Language Learners) and Discovery classes from Verona Elementary School enjoyed a field trip to the Memphis Zoo. Teacher Ms. Sandy Hernandez says this was a special treat for her English Language Learners class, after working hard to prepare for the LAS Links Placement Test.

Construction crews are busy this summer at Shannon High's football field. As part of a previous districtwide bond issue, complete field renovations are underway. We can't wait for players and fans to return to the football field at Shannon High this fall to see the improvements!
