Shannon High's varsity cheerleaders are learning new routines and much more this week during cheer camp at Grambling State University. Have fun!
Members of the Shannon High School Band are participating in the Northeast Mississippi Band Camp in Booneville this week, along with Mr. Pruitt and Mr. Brooks.

Excitement was in the air as the Shannon High School Class of 2025 held their graduation practice at the Cadence Arena this morning. We have 131 students graduating on Saturday.
McCarley Martin was selected among hundreds of applicants to attend the Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA) in Brookhaven beginning fall of 2025. She will join SHS sophomore Sarah House, who received her notice of admission a couple of weeks ago.

Shannon High School welcomed Mississippi Valley State University President Dr. Jerryl Briggs to its campus today. We appreciate Dr. Briggs making time to speak to our juniors and seniors!
Shannon High School FCA students spent time with the residents of The Meadows in Fulton. The day included a game of bingo, food, and prizes!
These library club girls (and guy) had a great time making earrings! We had been working hard during the Galentine's party and didn't get to make our own, so Ms. Hudson was sweet enough to bring her supplies back so we could.

After studying the Civil Rights Movement in U.S. History class at Shannon High, students became activists for an issue of today. They created pamphlets and other materials for a "march" to advocate a variety of causes.
