2025 Shannon High graduates were treated to breakfast as part of their graduation week. Thanks to First Baptist Church in Shannon for hosting!

Excitement was in the air as the Shannon High School Class of 2025 held their graduation practice at the Cadence Arena this morning. We have 131 students graduating on Saturday.

McCarley Martin was selected among hundreds of applicants to attend the Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA) in Brookhaven beginning fall of 2025. She will join SHS sophomore Sarah House, who received her notice of admission a couple of weeks ago.
Congratulations to both!



Shannon High senior EJ Scott has signed with Blue Mountain Christian University to play soccer this fall. Congrats to EJ! ⚽️

Shannon High School welcomed Mississippi Valley State University President Dr. Jerryl Briggs to its campus today. We appreciate Dr. Briggs making time to speak to our juniors and seniors!


Shannon High School FCA students spent time with the residents of The Meadows in Fulton. The day included a game of bingo, food, and prizes!

These library club girls (and guy) had a great time making earrings! We had been working hard during the Galentine's party and didn't get to make our own, so Ms. Hudson was sweet enough to bring her supplies back so we could.

Congratulations to Ella Robinson for finishing 3rd in the State 4A Girls Tennis Singles for the second consecutive year. We are proud of you!

After studying the Civil Rights Movement in U.S. History class at Shannon High, students became activists for an issue of today. They created pamphlets and other materials for a "march" to advocate a variety of causes.











Students and teachers dressed in their PJs today for Sensory Friendly Friday as part of Autism Awareness Month.


Each year, there are always fun, creative entries in the Shannon High/Middle Edible Book Festival!

Some future Shannon High Red Raiders took to the court yesterday in the after school basketball league! Join us again for more hoops next Tuesday afternoon, April 1.
