
The Shannon High School Choir performed at the Committee for King’s Awards Banquet in Tupelo this past weekend. Many Shannon High School students also served at various events honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Righteous Raiders of Shannon Middle along with students from Shannon High and the youth group of Shannon First Baptist Church packed and delivered 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child!

The library club brought Camp Half-Blood to Shannon High Friday! The club invited guests from Shannon High School and Shannon Middle School to come and experience activities centered around the Percy Jackson and the Olympians stories.

Kamari Foster has been selected for the Cooperative Youth Leadership Program through Tombigbee EPA. In February, she will attend the Grow at the Cooperative Leadership workshop in Jackson, followed by the Youth Tour in Washington D.C. during the summer.

The Red Raiders wore pink Friday in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. PBIS sold pink cupcakes, the student council sold breast cancer awareness magnets, bookmarks and buttons, and staff members were decked out in pink clothing.
