
Lee County CTE Culinary Arts II students learned how to properly cut up a whole chicken. Some students were not fond of hearing the bones when cutting. 🤪 They will now use those chickens in different recipes. #FindingFutures

Guntown Middle computer science and engineering classes are using iSTEM kits provided by Ashley Furniture to learn about various types of measurement instruments. They also discussed related career fields.

The Shannon High Library Club marked the upcoming final season of Netflix's Stranger Things with waffle kabobs and ST bookmarks for their teachers. (IYKYK!)

What an amazing event for our EL students and families! Students from Shannon, Verona, and Plantersville had an exciting evening celebrating their achievements in school. Some students received participation awards for their hard work in the EL program. We also introduced new students that are entering the program.








Saltillo Elementary third graders in Mrs. Kloac's room have been learning about September 11, 2001. Through meaningful discussions and activities, students explored the tragic events of that day, the bravery of the first responders, and the kindness and unity that followed in the days after.








Mooreville High students learned about the work that firemen do and were given valuable tips to help prevent fires. Coach Massey's safety education class had lots of good questions for the Mooreville-Eggville Fire Department!




Coach Pate’s health class at Mooreville High explored genetics and heredity by creating “gene bracelets.” 🧬 Each bead represents a different trait, showing how our unique combinations make us who we are.

Fourth graders across the district are off to a great start in art activity classes! These Mooreville Elementary students have been learning about abstract art and the artist Robert Delaunay.

Mrs. Johnson’s 6th grade book club members at Plantersville Middle chose “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” as their book for the first term. Students then created their very own chocolate factory! 😋











Shannon High students in Ms. Marcie Harper's art class had fun decorating their campus sidewalks with some chalk art!











Mrs. Dillinger’s AP Biology students at Saltillo High spent time in the lab Monday getting familiar with their new science space!
