Sixth through eighth grade teachers are working hard on our curriculum for next school year. Thanks to Mr. Woods and his administrative team at Shannon Middle School for providing the space and lunch!

The district hosted a reception this morning for this year's retirees and their families. Thanks to all for your years of service, and we wish you the best!

Field day fun at Verona Elementary!

When the principal gets dunked on field day! 😂 (Mr. Leasy at Verona Elementary)

A few pics from today's graduation practices! 🎓

These LCSD students placed in the 2024-25 Farm Bureau Drawing Contest. Guntown Middle's Kaylynn Flippen was a state contest winner and will have her drawing featured in the 2026 Farm Bureau calendar!

If you missed previous meetings held in the district, you have one last chance tomorrow morning in Saltillo.

Saltillo High art students presented "clay monsters" they created to Saltillo Primary preschoolers, based on the younger students' drawings. The preschoolers were so excited to see their monsters come to life!

Our Lee County athletes competed hard, won numerous medals, and had the best time at the 2025 Special Olympics Mississippi Summer Games in Biloxi! We are proud of you!

Lee County CTE Culinary Arts II students demonstrated exceptional skill in planning and preparing a 'picnic' lunch for their parents/loved ones. Great job!

The 2025 graduating class of Shannon High School took a walk down memory lane as they visited all of their old schools. Lots of love shown to these seniors! ❤️🖤

Don’t forget to stop by The Hall at Rogues and Rebels in Saltillo between 4:00pm-6:00pm on Tuesday, May 13, to see the LCSD Middle and High School Art Show!

THANK YOU to all the individuals, groups and businesses that have shown incredible kindness to our educators during #teacherappreciationweek! 💚💙❤️

Education, construction, and health students at the Lee County CTE Center have all been on the road recently! Thanks to the local businesses and colleges that have provided some valuable information to our students.

Congratulations to Saltillo High School senior Keira Ikemori for being named as a National Merit Finalist! This is a huge accomplishment that very few students achieve. We are proud of you, Keira!

Guntown Middle students had the rare opportunity to talk one-on-one with a retired NASA Astronaut! Fred Haise spoke virtually to all sixth graders from his home in Texas. Mr. Haise, who is now 91 years old, was a lunar module pilot for Apollo 13 back in 1970.

Verona Elementary 3rd graders had a wonderful day of science experiments and hands-on fun! This particular STEM lesson was made possible through a generous Driving Possibilities grant from Toyota and in partnership with the University of Mississippi Center for Mathematics and Science Education.

Congratulations to this year's valedictorians and salutatorians! #Classof2025

Culinary Arts students at the Lee County CTE Center put their skills to the test and prepared a delicious meal for their family members and other guests.

This is a fun and inspirational event to show support for our Special Olympics athletes headed to the state games in Biloxi this month. 🏅
