Mrs. Walker's class has been studying Newton's laws of motion. Students then made rockets in science lab to create a real-world application.










Plenty of friendly competition at today's Northeast Mississippi Special Olympics Area 11 games! Athletes from schools throughout our district took part in this annual event in Tupelo. Congratulations to all of the winners! 🏅
The gifted class visited Natchez, where students experienced Windsor Ruins, the William Johnson museum/home, mounds at the Grand Village, and took a ghost tour around downtown.





Ms. Washington’s 7th grade ELA classes read passages from the novel, The Outsiders, and created an "escape room" using text evidence, vocabulary, and critical-thinking skills.

Guntown Middle 7th graders welcomed Juanita G. Floyd of CREATE Foundation and author of Summer of 1969 during their study of Black History Month. Students also participated in interactive gallery walks and learned about civil rights issues of the 1960s.
